Last night’s book launch was a real joy for me, seeing many old friends and some new ones in a crowd of over 50 people.

I listened to your book launch talk. Many nods to your insights and more for me to think about. I wonder if the book includes the losses associated with poverty and restricted life opportunities? I will find out when I read it.

Thanks for your comment. It’s a good point and one that I didn’t really address in the book, except perhaps in the sense that failure, shame and regret might form a part of someone’s experience of being held back by limited opportunities in life. The experience of poverty in various guises no doubt comes with many kinds of loss. It’s a theme I will try to keep my ears more open to. Thanks,
